February Fun at Alexander County Library
February brings a lot of fun for youth of all ages at the Alexander County Library. We will have our annual Valentine week storytimes and a special visit from the Dental Clinic. And for Alexander Teens, YAYA will be on Feb. 9 and TPH @ The Bean will be on Feb. 16. We’re collecting art, short stories and poetry until March 1 for The Alexander Muse. Let the creativity begin! Check the library calendar at http://alexanderlibrary.org/ for dates.
The North Carolina Children’s Book Award will be voted on in March. To introduce children to the nominees, I will have an afternoon of readings on February 25 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. It will be a floating program with no set times. Just stop by the children’s area of the library when you can!
