Investigators with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested Allen Jennings “A.J” Campbell, W/M age 20, of Taylorsville on Friday, February 26, 2010. Campbell was charged with 2 counts of Statutory Rape of a 14 year old by a defendant that is more than 6 years older than the victim, 2 counts of Indecent Liberties with a child, and 2 counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile. Campbell was placed under a $30,000 secured bond and had his first court appearance in district court on Monday, March 1, 2010.
