Rental of the Alexander County Courthouse Park facility includes use of the Rotary Performance Stage, seating area, restrooms, on-site parking lot, electricity, and water. The splash pad and restrooms remain open to the public during permitted events.
Renter is prohibited from drilling, nailing, screwing, stapling, taping, or otherwise attaching anything to any park amenities.
Rental fees are due at the time the rental application is approved and PRIOR TO marketing and/or ticket sales for the event. The county retains the right to review and approve all marketing and promotional material.
A refundable Security Deposit in the amount $300 along with any additional fees must be remitted when the application is approved. The return of the Security Deposit will be determined by the condition of the park, stage, and restrooms once the special event ends a County Representative assesses conditions following the event. Damages in the excess of $300 as a result of the event will be paid by the Renter. Renter shall provide a Certificate of Insurance naming Alexander County Government as additionally insured.
Renter is responsible for extra trash receptacles and an adequate number of sanitation receptacles.
Renter is responsible for all security or crowd control managers based on attendance.
Renter shall also submit a Site Plan for the event indicating signage, generators, tents/canopies, booths, vendors, barricades, portable restrooms, inflatables, mechanical rides, PA systems, Food/Beverage Trucks, and others.
If renter is a Non-Profit applicant, an IRS Letter of Determination shall be required.
Renter understands that all Park Rules and Regulations apply as well as all rules regulating the use of Alexander County Property for Special Events.

The applicant certifies that the above information is correct and complete; has read and understands the rental fees and all rules and regulations; will provide any additional information requested by the County. The applicant may need additional permits, license, and insurance for the activity. This application must be approved and does not grant exclusive use of a public facility.
