| Description: PART-TIME W/NO BENEFITS APPROXIMATELY 20 HRS. PER WEEK. Employee’s primary duty is assisting a client with the activities of daily living through home management. | Title: Receptionist/Adoption Counselor |

| Description: Part-time Position with no Benefits (23 hrs. per week). Position will work 9-5 on Monday’s and 1-5 Tuesday through Friday. This position will perform clerical duties including answering the phone and greeting the public, take complaints and enters animal control calls into the computer, provides assistance to shelter director in implementing educational and spay/neuter programs and fundraising programs. Will interact with prospective adopters of impounded animals. Involved escorting visitors through the kennel and helping adopters find a good match within the kennel population. Dispatches animal control officers as needed. |
| Experience Required: Must be a high school graduate. Must have the ability to escort visitors, must be able to physically lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Access-based computer software and other office equipment. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently or a combination of education and experience. |
| Experience Preferred: Veterinary technician or assistant experience in a commercial kennel setting. Knowledge in animal rescue or control. Education in animal husbandry. Grant-writing and fundraising experience. |

| Description: Provide program management and supervisory oversight to the Children’s Services Unit. This includes supervision of two Social Work Supervisors. This position will manage work operations through considerable involvement with higher-level management, program and administrative staff to ensure consistency in the planning, evaluation, implementation and delivery of services. The employee will report to the Agency Director. |
| Experience Required: Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work and three years of social work or counseling experience, two of which were in a supervisory capacity; or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of social work and four years of social work or counseling experience, two of which were in a supervisory capacity; or a master’s degree in a counseling field and four years of social work or counseling experience, two of which were in a supervisory capacity; or a four year degree in a human services field or related curriculum including at least 15 semester hours in courses related to social work or counseling and five years of social work or counseling experience, two of which were in a supervisory capacity; or graduation from a four year college or university and six years of experience in rehabilitation counseling, pastoral counseling, or a related human services field providing experience in techniques of casework, group work, or community organization, two of which were in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. |

| Description: Position involves placement and supervision of children in substitute care, either in licensed foster homes or relative placement. This includes efforts with the child and his biological family to return the child to the home, to place him in the home of relatives, to legally clear him for the purpose of agency adoptive placement, or independent living. Employee must be able to complete on a timely basis, the forms, reports, records, dictation, and court summaries necessary in the total delivery of job responsibility. Must have verbal and written communication skills to relate in a positive manner to clients, attorneys, judges and others; must have the ability to thoroughly and objectively gather information; must have capacity to remain calm in stressful situations.
