Title: Part-Time EMT Paramedics

Pay/Grade: $14.25 hr.

Description: Employee will work as part of a two-person crew to provide emergency medical care and transportation to sick and injured patients in the pre-hospital setting. Duties include ambulance operation, direct patient care, inventory and stocking of supplies, documentation, and routine station tasks. Use of the computer for ambulance call reporting is required. Heavy lifting regularly required. Work schedule is as needed for filling open slots. EMS currently works a 24/72 schedule.

Experience Required: Certification by North Carolina Office of EMS at the EMT-Paramedic level. Applicant shall possess a valid NC driver’s license with a good driving record.

Experience Preferred: Certification in ACLS, PALS, and BTLS with one year of field experience with an ambulance provider.
