Title: Family Nurse Practitioner PT 20-25 hrs

DescriptionFamily Nurse Practitioner/Physician Extender to work in all public health clinics including Maternal Health, Family Planning, Sexually Transmitted Disease, Child Health and Adult Health.

Experience Required Graduation from a Physician Assistant program approved by the NC Board of Medical Examiners and approved to practice medical acts based on education and experience by the Board of Medical Examiners, and two years of experience in the area of assignment or graduation from an accredited Surgeons Assistant Program of at least 24 months duration and approved to practice medical acts based on education and experience by the Board of Medical Examiners, and 1 year of experience in the area of assignment or licensed as a Registered Nurse by the NC Board of Nursing, graduation from a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the NC Joint Subcommittee of the Board of Nursing and Board of Medical examiners, approved to practice medical acts based on education and experience by the NC Joint Subcommittee and two years experience in the area of assignment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Title: Income Maintenance Caseworker IIAdult M

Pay/Grade: $27,871 - $38,421 Grade 64

DescriptionEmployee is responsible for determining and/or re-determining an applicants eligibility for Adult Medicaid programs in the County Department of Social Services. Work involves the performance of functions within the eligibility process such as interviewing the applicant, obtaining required information, verifying information obtained, documenting required data and entering information in a state data based program via personal computer.

Experience Required Graduation from an accredited associate degree program in Human Services Technology, Social Services Associate, Paralegal Technology, Business Administration, Secretarial Science, or a closely related curriculum or graduation from high school and two years of paraprofessional, clerical, or other public contact experience which included negotiating, interviewing, explaining information, gathering and compiling of data, analysis of data and/or performance of mathematical or legal tasks with at least one year of such experience being in an income maintenance program or graduation from high school and three years of paraprofessional, clerical or other public contact experience which included negotiating, interviewing, explaining information, the gathering and compiling of data, the analysis of data and/or the performance of mathematical or legal tasks or an equivalent combination of training and experience. *One year of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker is required for level II all others will be hired at level I with a corresponding salary grade.
